TRF Professional are recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Purchasing Manager to join their busy Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to manage a stores and small purchasing department effectively


The Job Role;


  • Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures
  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records and related documentation
  • Management of a small stores team
  • Determine and record key supply chain KPI’s
  • Coordinate with production department/technical department on stock requirements
  • Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications


About you;


  • Experience as a purchasing manager within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Management experience with the ability to lead and support
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and MRP systems
  • Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
  • Ability to work independently
