TRF Professional are recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Purchasing Manager to join their busy Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to manage a stores and small purchasing department effectively
The Job Role;
- Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records and related documentation
- Management of a small stores team
- Determine and record key supply chain KPI’s
- Coordinate with production department/technical department on stock requirements
- Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications
About you;
- Experience as a purchasing manager within a manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Management experience with the ability to lead and support
- Proficient in Microsoft office and MRP systems
- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- Ability to work independently
