Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role of the Maintenance Electrician provides a breakdown / diagnostic service to mainly CNC machining equipment, electrical installation and circuit design to support improvement projects
The job:
- Provide a breakdown response service to the factory
- Provide project support by designing and implementing electrical circuits
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Specifying and ordering parts
- Test electrical circuits
- Update Industrial electrical infrastructure, e.g. distribution boards, consumer unit
- Fault Finding including using CNC controls, Fanuc, Heidenhein, Siemens, Allen Bradley
- Experience repairing CNC lathes, horizontal borers, 5 axis machines, ovens, robots
- Project work involving electrical design
- PLC experience
About you
- Time Served Maintenance Electrician with at least 3 years post apprentice experience
- 18th Edition Qualification (or equivalent/similar)
- NVQ Level 3 or ONC in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
- Flexible to the needs of the business with the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Willing to work overtime as and when required
- Willing to respond to events and adjust hours accordingly
