Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Weekend Shift
The role
Permanent position working for an established and successful world leader in precision manufacturing of parts for the fuel industry. Working as part of the maintenance team as one of the electrical maintenance engineers responsible for maintaining high quality electrical repairs and maintenance to machinery around the site.
Duties
- Fault finding during production
- Performing planned and predictive maintenance
- Assessing need of spare parts
- Ensure resources are used to optimum effect
- Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Observe and practice the 5S principles
- Work to Lean theory
- Use computer equipment for data purposes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices
Skills/ Experience / Knowledge
- Time served engineer (or have an equivalent qualification)
- Good time management skills
- Knowledge of PLC AC drives and servo drives
- Good verbal and listening skills
- Ability to read and understand written planning and follow verbal instructions
- Knowledge of robots an advantage
- Foundry experience is desirable
- Welding skills preferred
- UK driving licence is essential
Hours of work are days Fri & Sat 06.0am to 19.00pm, Sunday 06.00am to 18.00pm
