Our client has been at the forefront of car and commercial vehicle repairs for over 30 years. Their experience has enabled them to sustain growth in the market by offering a ‘Total Service Package’ all under one roof.
On their behalf we are recruiting for an experienced and qualified MET Technician to join their prestigious centre in Rochdale. The role is to perform strip and refit of mechanical repairs to damaged vehicles and key responsibilities and skills required include;
- Working knowledge and experience of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
- ATA or Equivalent MET accreditation
- LCV experience
- Relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications
- Steering Geometry alignment and adjustment qualifications
- Glazing qualifications desirable
- Air Conditioning system evacuation and recharge
- Knowledge and understanding of Thatcham Repair methods
- Ability to work as a team member & complete all tasks to a high standard in a professional manner
- Able to work under their own initiative although there will be guidance and advise from work colleagues
- Good at following instructions with strong working standards
- Good attitude to working under pressure and to time constraints
The hours for the role are 7.30 to 5.00 Monday to Friday with overtime available.
